Jeremy's draft is Fernando Mendoza at 1.03 and then a long afternoon of shrugs, and that is fine, because Mendoza at 1.03 might be the most valuable single selection in the class for this roster. Superflex math is brutal: only three QBs cracked the SF top 30 this year, and Jeremy already owns Lamar Jackson at 29. Mendoza is the succession plan, the trade chip, and the insurance policy in one 22-year-old package. Vegas sitting him behind Cousins for a few weeks is a feature, not a bug. The rest: Tank Bigsby joins Philly's backfield for depth, Elijah Arroyo is a second-year Seattle TE flyer, Hollywood Brown is a veteran WR band-aid, and J'Mari Taylor plus Roman Hemby are end-of-draft RB darts, one of which (Taylor) was on sharper boards as a deep sleeper.

THE HAUL

1.03
Fernando Mendoza QB LV • 4,106 SF

Unsigned contract drama is money-timing noise. Insiders expect him starting within weeks of the season. QB2s in SF do not reach 1.03 often.

3.03
Tank Bigsby RB PHI • 1,320 SF

Bigsby behind Barkley... wait, Saquon is Philly's, this is depth-chart chaos insurance. Volume dart.

4.03
Elijah Arroyo TE SEA • 814 SF

Arroyo flashed at Seattle minicamp per beat reports. TE room needed a young body behind McBride. Wait, McBride is Jeremy's too. Shelf value.

5.03
Marquise Brown WR PHI • 361 SF

Hollywood in Philly is a real-life WR3 with weekly flex utility. Boring but usable.

5.06
J'Mari Taylor RB JAX • 282 SF acquired pick

J'Mari Taylor was a deep-sleeper name on prep boards. Correct fifth-round behavior.

5.12
Roman Hemby RB LV • 124 SF acquired pick

Hemby closes the draft as a Vegas satellite dart. Fine.

Best pick

Mendoza at 1.03. The QB2 of the class in a Superflex league, drafted by a team whose QB1 turns 30 next January. Perfect asset-roster fit.

Riskiest move

Marquise Brown at 5.03 over the younger darts still on the board. Veteran fifths on a rising team are calories, not nutrition.

3-YEAR OUTLOOK

Rising fast, 2027 arrival
2026

Fringe playoff team with a top-heavy weekly lineup: Lamar, McBride, T-Mac, Walker, Henderson. The WR depth after Thomas and Williams thins out quick, and that costs them two or three weeks.

2027

This is the roster people realize too late is a problem. Mendoza either starts alongside Lamar (best QB room in the league) or becomes the most liquid trade asset in LOTF during the QB-rich 2027 offseason. McMillan 24, Thomas 24, Henderson 24, Tuten 24.

2028

Legit title window. Lamar 31 still elite, Mendoza 24 established, and the entire skill core is 25 or under. Full pick sheet both years. The quiet long-game winner of this draft cycle.

STASH WATCH

Jalen Milroe • Taxi. Seattle athletic QB project. In Superflex, every athletic QB with a pulse is a lottery ticket.

Tahj Brooks • Taxi. Cincinnati's between-the-tackles insurance. Chase Brown's contract year looms.

Elijah Arroyo • Minicamp buzz was real. McBride's understudy is also his trade-bait replacement.
